Getting started

Getting started

Do I need an account?

No. Your wallet pays and your 32-character order code gets you back to your server. We don't ask for an email, ID or card.

What exactly do I get?

One Ubuntu 24.04 LTS server with SSH access and a dedicated public IP. You log in as the ubuntu user and use sudo for admin rights. Spec: SPEC TBC. Run time: HOURS TBC.

How long until my server is ready?

Usually a few minutes. The payment must first reach finalized on Solana (under a minute), then the server is created and installed, which is not instant. The activation page updates on its own.

Are my servers stored in my wallet?

No. Connecting a wallet only makes paying one click. Servers are never linked to a wallet: the only way back to yours is its 32-character order code. Save it before you pay.

I've never used a server. Can I still do this?

Yes. Follow the setup guide: it gives you every command to copy, and tells you what you should see after each one.

Payments and $PC

Payments and $PC

Can I pay with SOL or USDC?

No. Activations are paid in $PC only. Other tokens sent to an order address are not detected and do not start a server.

My payment is stuck on "Waiting for your payment"
Check
Open your wallet history and confirm the transfer went through.
Check
You sent $PC, not SOL, to the exact order address on screen.
Check
You sent the full amount. Underpayments don't trigger a server.
Check
You paid before the order expired. Late payments aren't detected.
Then
Still stuck after 5 minutes? Contact support with your order code.
Why do I need SOL if I'm paying in $PC?

Every Solana transaction has a small network fee paid in SOL, usually under 0.0001 SOL. Your first payment to a new order address also creates a token account for it, which costs about 0.002 SOL. Without any SOL, your wallet can't send the $PC.

How do I know it's the real $PC?

Check the mint address: 4xd5GwBhRrkHdf5o5M1rrHwboQCsf8yoLxGDPj1SRD6V. It's also in the footer of every page.

I lost my order code

Order codes can't be recovered because there's no account behind them. If you still have the server's IP and password, you can keep using it over SSH. Next time, save the code in a password manager before paying.

Access and SSH

Access and SSH

Connection refused or timed out

The server may still be booting. Wait a minute and retry. If you enabled the firewall, make sure you ran ufw allow OpenSSH first.

Permission denied

The password is wrong. Copy it again from Find my server and paste it (right-click in PowerShell). The password stays invisible while you type; that's normal.

I can't connect and my server never started

New servers must be switched on once. Open Find my server, enter your order code and press Start.

REMOTE HOST IDENTIFICATION HAS CHANGED

You've connected to a previous server on the same IP. Remove the old key from your computer, then connect again:

your computer
ssh-keygen -R YOUR_IP
Do I need PuTTY on Windows?

No. Windows 10 and later include SSH in PowerShell. PuTTY works too if you prefer it.

Run time and limits

Run time and limits

What happens when my run time ends?

After HOURS TBC the server and its disk are deleted and can't be restored. Keep your code in git and copy any data off beforehand.

Why does capacity show 0?

Up to 10 servers are created per hour across all users. When they're taken, the counter frees up as the hour rolls on. An order paid while it's full simply waits for the next free slot.

Can I run more than one server?

Yes. Each activation is one server, so activate once per server you need.

What am I not allowed to run?

Spam, attacks on other systems, or illegal content. Servers used this way are shut down without refund.
